Franco Zeffirelli was an Italian actor, director, writer, screenwriter, set designer, and assistant director.He was born on February 12, 1923 in Florence and died on June 15, 2019 at the age of 96 in Rome.
In 2002 he received the lifetime achievement award at the David di Donatello. From 1969 to 2002 Franco Zeffirelli won 5 awards: David di Donatello (1969, 1972, 1979, 2002), Nastri d’Argento (1969).
